"I used Leianne O'Brien as my midwife when she was working out of Burwood Hospital and, as it happened, Jan Johnston was the back up so got to know her as well!
Leianne delivered my fourth child and I can't praise her enough, she got me through my labour with just gas, after 3 previous epidurals (probably didn't help that it was fast).
Leianne and Jan as a team were the best midwives I have experienced in any of my pregnancies and I have no hesitation in using either of them again.
By the way, we are trying to conceive #5 (and Leianne I know I said #4 was the last) so I hope you are available towards the end of next year!

"I used Jan Johnston for our first pregnancy this year. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, very easy to talk to and ask questions. When it came time to go into labour we felt well prepared, although I don't know if that is entirely possible! Jan was great through the labour and we felt very safe and supported. In hindsight it was the care we got after our baby was born that was so important - that's when all the questions start. If Jan didn't have the answer she knew where to find it, or at least reassured us when we felt we were at our wit's end. I can't recommend Jan highly enough."
